To Wholly Give

Sometimes the obvious,
when presented right before you,
seems to be cloaked in a mist of question.

And the truth becomes lies.
And right becomes wrong.

Such as it is,
things that are seen for what they are,
don't necessarily translate into that which you know,
or are familiar with.

And tell me then:
Can you accept that which is unacceptable,
and see the light when your only beacon is the dark?
Can you find the purity in the totality of contamination?
Can you walk when there is no existence,
and can you love when such a concept is so foreign to you,
and an emotion or feeling does not belong to one who possesses it?

If a mind can know,
and understanding can overcome grief,
then surely what I have can not be the end,
or the beginning,
but merely a brief smile.

And in the absence of a reason,
I simply state,

"No".
