The Man With Many Faces

He goes through life alone
And sings his song in silence
They run from him in fear
But he's never known violence

The night will find him on the street
Always, always walking
Some nights he buys a donut
But can't afford a coffee

And they say he's schizophrenic
But he's always the same to me
A little boy in grown up clothes
Always so very lonely

I try to bring some happiness
And sunshine to his day
Cause it breaks my heart to hear him say
He sold his gloves to be able to pay

And they say he's schizophrenic
He's always trading places
But he always remembers who I am
The man with many faces
